Ever since my early childhood days in Gwalior, the tradition of family doctors has been an intriguing concept for the well-being of people. The ever-evolving contemporary world is somehow lacking these values and are often silenced by the multiple apps and sign-ins mushrooming every day. Though much is spoken about "Integrated Healthcare", it still looks like a distant dream in reality.
This realization has led to the inception of Drome, an eudaimonia yet practical amalgamation of doctor at one’s own Home. Drome is a health-tech platform that is bringing the notions of Family Physicians in order to access all sorts of healthcare services under one umbrella of ‘Drome Healthcare Universe’. Drome aspires to be the niche for both the beneficiaries and providers of healthcare.
The People (Beneficiaries) are helped by ease of connectivity with clinicians for appointment, investigations, diagnosis, medications, maintaining medical records and providing 24 x 7 x 365 Tele / Video consultation for medical advice, wherein the Doctor will be able to access medical data and medical wearables live data while, The Doctors (Providers)*, will be able to manage their clinical encounters as well as schedule them, with secured Cloud storage. They can generate prescriptions, have tele / video consultations, take clinical photographs, images of radiological investigations, write personal notes for all the patients they have seen in their career and never miss record of any patient attended by them. Drome will also Provide a platform to other stakeholders (Providers) to build up a plethora of services needed for any healthcare interaction such as concierge booking for hospital visit, planning Health Insurance, Health financing for hospital admissions, accessing emergency Health services etc.
It is incumbent on everyone to make our worldly interactions better in our search for perfection and we are no exception. We want to assure to you that, “Integrated Healthcare” is no more a Utopian dream.
